Hurt……….Eula Tucker Stevens, age 91 of 5481 Renan Road, Hurt died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Autumn Care of Altavista.
Born December 8, 1919 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Noel Tucker and Laura Wright Tucker. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin Thompson Stevens; one brother, Russell Tucker; and three sisters, Janie Crowder, Margaret Brandon, and Nera Ferguson. Mrs. Stevens was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and was a home maker. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and planting boxwoods.
She is survived by one daughter, Anita W. Stevens of Hurt; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011 at Altavista Memorial Park by Rev. Matt Speck.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
