Roanoke……Elton Vance Overstreet, Jr., age 65 of Roanoke died Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born June 19, 1956 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Shirley Fifer Overstreet of Hurt and the late Elton Vance Overstreet, Sr.  He was predeceased by one brother, Roger Overstreet.  Mr. Overstreet was a Marine Veteran.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Melissa Overstreet of San Antonio, Texas and Jenna Overstreet of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Joy Moore of Hurt, and Deneen Dalton of Hurt; one granddaughter, Annabelle Overstreet; his girlfriend, Nancy Clemmons; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Bobby Brumfield.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2:00 p.m. at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
