Gretna……….Elizabeth Peak Worley, age 91 of Gretna died Saturday, October 5, 2024 at her residence.

Born November 1, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Irvin Leonard Peak and Annie Edwards Peak. She was predeceased by her husband, James "Jim" Norman Worley, Sr.; a son, James Norman Worley, Jr; three brothers, Baxter Peak, Alonza Peak and Owen Peak; and two sisters, Vernon Hughes and Marie Peak. Mrs. Worley was a member at Spring Road Baptist Church and was a home maker. She enjoyed cooking Sunday lunches for her family and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Worley and wife, Frankie of Gretna and Michael Worley and wife, Wanda of Gretna; one daughter, Janet Shelton and husband, Rodney of Java; one sister, Eula Jacobs of Gretna; four grandchildren, Jordan Shelton and wife, Sierra, Latisha Hundley, Jessica Adkins and husband, Anthony and James Shelton (Morgan) and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2024 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Ronnie Simpson. Burial will follow in the Worley Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2024 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
