Chatham…….Elizabeth "Granny" Koepf Lee, age 93 of Chatham died Monday, February 1, 2021 at her residence.

Born November 12, 1927 in Munich, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Johan Koepf and Maria Niemeier Koepf.  She was predeceased by her first husband, James Ford Barrett; her second husband, Roy Edward "Eddie" Lee; one sister, Rosi Von-Hallberg; and one brother, Hans Koepf. "Granny" retired from Klopman Mills after 25 years of service.  She was an avid reader; and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Rosemarie McKinney and husband, Tommy; one son, Jimmy Barrett, Sr. and wife, Betty; six grandchildren, Jimmy Barrett, Jr. and wife, Jennifer, Lavinna Ashwell and husband, Brent, Jennifer Yeatts, Chris McKinney, Heidi Bailess, and Josh McKinney and wife, Rachel; and ten great-grandchildren, Morgan, Matthew, Ethan, Mallory, Will, Sadie, Emma, Mattie, Leah, and Keaton.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Altavista Memorial Park by Rev. Lynn Marstin.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
