Hurt….….Elaine Davis Barbour, age 75 of Hurt died Friday, June 22, 2018 at her residence.

Born September 29, 1942 in Pittsylvania County she was a daughter of the late Felix Thornton Davis and Lucy Hodges Davis. She was predeceased by one sister, Shirley Preas. Mrs. Barbour was a member of First Baptist Church Gretna and retired from Pittsylvania County Schools. She enjoyed crafts, painting and woodworking.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Zane Barbour of the residence; one son, Ricky Barbour and wife, Christi of King William; one daughter, Debbie Barbour of Hurt; and two grandchildren, Allison Barbour and Jamie Walker.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Dr. Roy N. Ford, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 :00 P.M. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
