Hurt….......Edna Keatts Patterson, age 89 of Hurt passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Chatham Health and Rehab Center.

Born July 12, 1936 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Bob Berkley Keatts and Susie Dove Keatts.  She was predeceased by her husband, Curtis Patterson; and four brothers, Curtis Keatts, James Keatts, Chesley Keatts and Harold Perkins.  Mrs. Patterson was a member of Spring Road Baptist Church and she retired from the Lane Company.  She loved being outside, working with flowers and watching hummingbirds.

She is survived by one daughter, Patsy P. Hendricks and husband, Jimmy of Hurt; one son, Wayne Patterson and wife, Sherry of Hurt; two brothers, Herbert Keatts and wife, Janie of Gretna and Harold Keatts and wife, Eileen of Moseley; four sisters, Christine Perkins of Hurt, Lottie Lynch of Ringgold, Pearline Kent of Blanch, NC and Ella Harvey of Hurt; three grandchildren, Cassie Hogan and husband, Kevin, Jimmy Ray Hendricks  (Sherry Smiddle) and Crystal Adkins; and six great-grandchildren, Matthew Hearn, Miranda Hearn, Luke Hogan, Kaiden Hogan, Jeremiah Hogan and Mikey Hogan.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2026 at Spring Road Baptist Church by Pastor Ronnie Simpson.  Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2026 at Spring Road Baptist Church and other times will be at the residence.
