Hurt……Earline Roberts Lambert, age 86 of Hurt died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Born December 23, 1934 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Lillard Richard Roberts and Fleeter Mattox Roberts.  She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Garnett Lambert; and one sister, Virginia Rice.  Mrs. Lambert was a member of Hurt United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir.  She retired from the Lane Company; and she enjoyed fishing, camping, working puzzles, and reading the Bible.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda East and husband, Robert of Altavista; one sister, Lucille Barbour of Altavista; two grandchildren, Lisa Crews and husband, Michael of Long Island, and Kristy Harless of Hurt; and six great-grandchildren, Erica, Jasmine, Gavin, Aidan, Landon, and Kamryn.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Green Lawn Cemetery by Rev. Jim Brown.
