Gretna……….Earleen George Craddock, age 85 of Gretna died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born July 15, 1926 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Early C. George and Bessie Colbert George. She was predeceased by her husband, Letcher Blair Craddock; and a son, Ricky L. Craddock. Mrs. Craddock was a member of Greenfield Baptist Church, and the WMU. She was a retired employee of the Pittsylvania County School System. Mrs. Craddock was a gracious lady, and loved mission work.
She is survived by one brother, A.T. George of Clinton, MD; one sister, Betty Lou Wiley-Jones of Lynchburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. R.G. Rowland. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
