Durham, NC………Drew Thomas Farmer, age 21 of Durham, NC died Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Duke University Medical Center.
Born May 16, 1996 in Lynchburg he was a son of Bobby Joe Farmer (Nancy) of Durham, NC and Karen Shelton Hamlett (Stewart) of Hurt. Drew was a manager for Domino's Pizza. He enjoyed music, skate boarding, video games and spending time with his dogs, Chico and Missy.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Cory Joe Farmer of Durham, NC; his maternal grandmother, Louise Shelton of Hurt; his fiancée, Dixie Summer Cox of Durham, NC and his nephew, Haven Wayne Joe Farmer.
Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Joe Cornell.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his grandmother, Louise Shelton, 4100 Roark Mill Road, Hurt.
