Hurt……….Douglas Thomas Brewer, Jr., age 64 of Hurt passed away Monday, June 22, 2026 at his residence.

Born October 11, 1961 Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Douglas Thomas Brewer, Sr. and Phyllis Jean Jacobs Brewer.  Mr. Brewer retired from Unique Industries.  He enjoyed doing yard work; and collecting Bald Eagle and Harley Davidson memorabilia.

He is survived by his sister, Karen Worley and husband, Sam of Gretna; niece, Crystal Grubbs and husband, Jason; nephew, Bo Worley and wife, Megan; great-nephews, Brandon Grubbs, Jared Grubbs and Brantley White; great-nieces, Chandler Worley, Cassadee Grubbs, Preslee Worley and Delilah Worley; and two daughters.

Per his request there will be no public service.
