Faith, North Carolina……Franklin Douglas "Doug" Worley, age 76 of Faith, North Carolina died Thursday, October 28, 2021 at his residence.

Born May 3, 1945 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Sam Henry Worley and Sarah Elizabeth Hammack Worley. He was predeceased by two sons, Tracy Worley and Stacy Worley; two granddaughters, Asia Privette and Brittney Farmer; and six brothers, Clay Worley, Dave Worley, Jim Worley, Sam Worley, Sr., Price Worley and Wilford Worley. Doug was a dump truck driver; he enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and drinking beer.

He is survived by one son, David Wayne Worley of Gretna; three daughters, Julie Goodlett of Salisbury, NC, Amanda Ganus and husband, Fred of Concord, NC and Audrey Chewey of Rockwell, NC; two brothers, Charlie Worley and wife, Sandy of Alexandria and Lee Worley and wife, Sharon of Gretna; one sister, Gladys Light of Roanoke; two special nephews, Sam Worley, Jr. and David Worley, Jr. and other numerous nieces and nephews; and 15 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the Worley Family Cemetery by Pastor Kenneth Worley.
