Hurt……..Dottie Moorefield Reynolds, age 95 of Hurt passed away Friday, September 11, 2026 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born August 21, 1931 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late John Raymond Moorefield and Laura Haines Moorefield.  She was predeceased by her husband, Billy Clark Reynolds; three brothers, Voyel Moorefield, Vernell Moorefield and Russell Moorefield; one sister Alease Arthur; and a nephew, Larry Jones.  Mrs. Reynolds was a member of Spring Road Baptist Church and she retired from Klopman Mills.

She is survived by one son, Tim Reynolds and wife, Patti of Hurt; two grandchildren, Colby Reynolds and wife, Taylor and Abbie Reynolds; four great-grandchildren, Maddi, Grant, Hayden and Sadie Faye; sisters-in-law, Patsy Conner and Dianne Shelton and husband, Malon; numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.  She lived a blessed life and was well loved.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Ronnie Simpson and Rev. Brian Faison.  Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
