Martinsville……….Richard Donald (Donnie) Franklin, age 66 of Martinsville died Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville.
Born September 28, 1946 in Martinsville, he was a son of Juanita Alice Barker Franklin of Martinsville and the late Henry Octavus Franklin. Mr. Franklin enjoyed playing cards, and looking at magazines.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Timothy W. Franklin and his wife, Bonnie of Christiansburg, and Jeffery D. Franklin and his wife, Susan of Martinsville; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 6, 2013 by Dr. David Adkins at the Plymale Family Cemetery.
