Donna Gail Jones "DJ", age 55 of Indianapolis, IN passed away June 22, 2025.

Donna was born March 25, 1970 in Reidsville, NC to late the Linda Bane and the late Allen Gibson. Donna was adopted by late Zeb and Robertta Jones of Pittsville, VA, who loved her deeply and provided a wonderful home.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved son, Sydney O'Ryan Jones, and nephew, Taylor O'Ryan Barnes.

Donna leaves behind her sibling, Michelle Barnes (Kenneth Blue) of Midland, NC, niece Lily Mae Parsons of Campbellsville, KY, and her cherished companion, Dash, who brought her endless joy and unconditional love for 11 years.

Donna attended Gretna High School. She later pursued her passion for aviation at Guilford Technical Community College, graduating in 2013 with a degree in Aviation Studies.

A dedicated career in aviation began for "DJ" at the Department of Transportation - Federal Aviation Administration, where she served as an Aircraft Quality Inspector. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence were paramount in her role, marking her as a significant contributor to the aviation industry. Before this esteemed position, Donna spent time honing her skills in a different environment, working at P.F. Changs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Her diverse experiences abroad enriched her life and broadened her perspectives.
