Altavista…….Donna Dalton Arthur, age 69 of Altavista, died Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab.

Born July 9, 1955 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late Guston Mays Dalton and Dollie Vivian Reynolds Dalton. Mrs. Arthur was predeceased by two brothers, Roger Dalton and Robert Dalton. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and was a home maker. Donna enjoyed playing golf and making quilts.

She is survived by one daughter, Christina Davis of Altavista; two stepchildren, Kevin Davis of Gretna and Leslie Davis of Brookneal; two sisters, Joan Cooper and husband, Ronnie of Altavista and Janice Smith of Hurt; one brother, Barry Dalton and wife, Shelby of Hurt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jason Andrews.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of her brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Shelby Dalton, 257 Simpson Drive Hurt, Virginia 24563.
