Donald Wayne Wheeler, Sr.

Gretna…..Donald Wayne Wheeler, Sr. age 67 of Gretna died Monday, October 31, 2011 at his residence.
Born June 14, 1944 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Carlyle Wheeler and Sallie Watts Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler was an Army Veteran of Vietnam, and a Train Master with Norfolk-Southern. He received his Bachelors Degree and MBA from Lynchburg College. Mr. Wheeler was of the Methodist Faith, and enjoyed fishing, and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Yeatts Wheeler of the residence; one son, Don W. Wheeler, Jr. and his wife, Sherry of Rustburg; two daughters, Lisa Strain and her husband, Billy of Forest, and Dana Lyn Wheeler of Charlottesville; a twin brother, Ronald Wheeler; and four grandchildren, Will Strain, Sydney Strain, Kaylee Wheeler, and Kaleb Wheeler.
A private service was held for Mr. Wheeler.
