Gretna……Donald Ramsey Johnson, age 77 of Gretna died Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born February 29, 1944 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Paul Ramsey Johnson and Irene Turner Johnson.  He was predeceased by his wife, Pauline Keatts Johnson; and one brother, Earl Johnson.  Donald was a member of Greenfield Baptist Church and he retired from Moore's Electric.  He enjoyed spending time with his beagle, "Lucky."

He is survived by son, Dwayne Mark Johnson of Rustburg; one daughter, Robyn Johnson Kramer of Lynchburg; one brother, Jimmy Johnson of Gretna; one sister, Martha Scott and husband, Bill of Chatham; three grandchildren, Steven Johnson, Keri Coleman, and Dylan Kramer; two great-grandchildren; one niece, April Berger; and one nephew, Justin Scarce.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Greenfield Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. R.G. Rowland.
