Gretna……….Donald Henry Elliott, age 83 of Gretna died Thursday, January 22, 2015 at his residence.
Born September 23, 1931 in Holden, NC he was a son of the late Roy David Elliott, Sr. and Ida Lobsinger Elliott. He was predeceased by his wife, June Elliott; and two brothers, Roy Elliott, Jr. and Ivan Elliott. Mr. Elliott was an US Air Force Veteran and was a retired electrical technician for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. He enjoyed tinkering on electronics, leather crafts and woodworking.
He is survived by two daughters, Andrea Marie Foss of South Riding and Donna Anne Elliott of Virginia Beach; and two grandchildren, Brian Hobbs and Lauren Hobbs.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens by Rev. Kerry Michael.
