Gretna……….Dolores Kokinda VanName, age 81 of Gretna died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.
Born May 30, 1931 in Taylor, PA she was a daughter of the late Frank Kokinda, Sr. and Susan Sopak Kokinda. She was predeceased by one sister, Lorainne Flannery; and three brothers, Allen Kokinda, Jack Kokinda, and Frank Kokinda, Jr. Mrs. VanName was of the Catholic faith and was a home maker. She enjoyed bird watching, flea markets, yard sales, and walking her trails in the woods.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Henry VanName, Sr. of the residence; one son, Charles Henry VanName, Jr. of Gretna; two daughters, Christine Bogdanovitch of Gretna, and Carla Galvacky and her husband, Ben of Rehoboth, DE; and five grandchildren.
Per her request there will be no public service.
