Gretna……….Dollie Louise Dalton Woolard, age 84 of Gretna, died Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Autumn Care Health and Rehab of Altavista.

Born February 25, 1938 in Gretna, she was a daughter of the late Guy Owen Dalton, Sr. and Mildred Younger Dalton.  She was predeceased by her husband, Willie Hester Woolard, Sr.; one son, Frank Douglas Harris; three brothers, Malon Dalton, Berkley Dalton, and Garry Dalton; and one sister, Barbara Dalton Hawkins.  Mrs. Woolard retired from BGF; and she enjoyed cooking, yard sales, reading, and going to church.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Schilling and husband, Lloyd of Gretna and Cheryl Alexander and husband, Charles of Virginia Beach; four brothers, Guy Dalton, Jr. of Gretna, Doug Dalton of Gretna, Ron Dalton and wife, Gail of Gretna and Jerry Dalton of Penhook; two sisters, Betty George of Gretna, and Geraldine Stratton of Gretna; 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jason Andrews.  Burial will follow in the Russ Dalton Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
