Gladys……..Diana Marie Tabler Thompson, age 73 of Gladys died Friday, November 15, 2019 at her residence.

Born February 14, 1946 in Washington D.C., she was a daughter of the late William Tabler and Ella Barrett Zevely.  She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Thomas "Al" Thompson; one son, Kermit Thompson; two daughters, Dawn Marie King, and Georgia Ann Speigle; and one brother, Howard Tabler. Mrs. Thompson enjoyed dancing, crocheting, playing Bingo, listening to music and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis King and wife, Grace of Lynchburg, and William Thompson of Gladys; one daughter, Diana Jones and husband, Ronald of Gladys; and 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Lynn Marstin.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
