Gretna……….Dennis Frank Walsh, age 61 of Gretna, died Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Born October 8, 1959 in Bay Shore, New York, he was a son of the late William Walsh and Virginia Margaret Forrler Walsh. He was predeceased by a sister, Rebecca Walsh. Dennis spent the first 7 years of his life with his family, he then moved to Virginia and spent 40 years at the Central Virginia Training Center. He was then privileged to live 13 years in the Gretna Community at Doss Estates, Inc. where he developed close relationships with everyone there. Dennis loved anything that could spin, especially windmills. He enjoyed airplanes, helicopters, nature and going on vacations.

He is survived by three brothers, Robert Walsh of Georgia, Joseph Walsh of New York and Christopher Walsh of New York.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Branch President, John Ansted, First Counselor, James Crawford and Second Counselor, Mark D. Covington, all of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gretna Branch.
