Rocky Mount……….Delores "Tootsie" Hudson Robertson, age 72 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born January 13, 1951 in Roanoke, she was a daughter of the late Calvin Jake Hudson and Myrtle Lucille Cook Hudson.  She was predeceased by a brother, Kim Patrick Hudson.  Delores was a home maker.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Dowdy and wife, Jennifer of Danville; one daughter, Natalie Anderson and husband, Roger Dale of Penhook; two brothers, Calvin Jake Hudson, Jr. and wife, Rebecca of South Carolina, and Tommy Lee Hudson and wife, Magdalene of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Zachary Blankenship, Jessica Ardry and husband, Pete, Jacobe Simpson, Leah Dowdy, and Emma Dowdy; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Liberty Memorial Cemetery by Rev. R.G. Rowland.
