Gretna...........Jeffrey Dean Moore, age 60 of Gretna died Monday, March 10, 2025 at his residence.

Born May 9, 1964 in Danville, he was a son of the late Coleman Sturley Moore and Annie Doris Haskins Moore.  He was predeceased by a brother, Steve Moore.  Dean worked in maintenance; and enjoyed nature, cooking shows and watching racing.  He was a kind and sweet brother.

He is survived by three brothers, Davis Moore and wife, Sharon of Gretna, Mike Moore and wife, Elaine of South Carolina and Wesley Moore of Gretna; three sisters, Gloria Hendricks of Hurt, Cindy Mimms and husband, Eddie of Providence, NC and Marie Haynes and husband, Ray of Gretna; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Moore of Gretna; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per his request there will be no public service.
