Bethlehem, PA………Dawn Singley Wilson Price, age 92 formerly of Gretna died Monday, June 27, 2022 at Abington Memory Care in Easton, PA surrounded by her family.

Born October 24, 1929 in Washington, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Lanning and Florence Lanning. She was predeceased in death by two husbands, Dave Wilson and Doug Price; one sister, Joan Smith; a son-in-law, Edward Woolf Sr; and her stepfather, Harold Lowe.

Dawn's career included working as an Operator for AT&T.  She then worked for the United States Postal Service working in increasing levels of responsibility until she was appointed Postmaster of Bloomsbury, NJ from which she retired in 1990.  She assisted her husband Dave in running a dairy farm in Bloomsbury, NJ and in their retirement, a beef cattle farm in Gretna. She was an avid horsewoman; loved animals, enjoyed traveling, golf and spending time with her family and friends. She had a relentless work ethic, high standards and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She will forever be missed.

Dawn was the past-president of the United States Postal Service "088" Association, a previous member of the Red Hat Society, United Methodist Women, Midway Baptist Church and Anderson Memorial United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Thomas Singley and wife, Celinda of New Braunfels, TX; three daughters, Linda Woolf of Broadway, NJ, Terrye Armstrong and husband, Charles of Chambersburg, PA and Joane Hockenbury and husband, Terry of Bethlehem, PA, step-daughter Deborah Moran of Gretna; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Lynn Marstin.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Midway Baptist Church or Anderson Memorial United Methodist Church, Gretna, VA.
