Hurt………David Edward Yeatts, loving husband, father and granddaddy, died Monday, April 12, 2021.

Born June 17, 1946 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Berkley Edward Yeatts and Ada Eades Creasy Yeatts.  He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond Creasy.  David was a devoted member of Monte Vista Baptist Church in Hurt. He was retired from Schrader Bridgeport.

He is survived by his wife, Ava Terry Yeatts of the residence; his daughters Amy Cox (Todd) of Evington and Rachel Nichols (Chad) of Hurt; step-daughters Kelley Falls of Madison Heights and Brandy Shaffer (Brian) of Chesterfield; and his precious grandchildren Lexi Nichols, Eric Nichols and Lily Shaffer.

A graveside service will be held at Altavista Memorial Park on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Latta Terry and Rev. Wyatt Miles IV.
