Java………David Lee Waller, age 72 of Java passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at his residence.

Born January 11, 1954 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Cawley Tenny Waller and Joyce Roakes Waller.  Mr. Waller attended Blairs Baptist Church as well as The Jesus Gathering on White Oak Mountain.  He was a retired truck driver and volunteer with God's Pit Crew.  Mr. Waller enjoyed tractors, attending tractor pulls and had a passion for tractor model International Harvester 1066.  He also enjoyed deer, turkey and rabbit hunting.  He owned several motorcycles and enjoyed riding four wheelers.

He is survived by his wife, Tricia Arlene Waller of the residence; one daughter, Carrie Clarke and husband, Jan of Summerset, SD; one sister, Marie Harper and husband, Sam of Newport News; two grandsons, Jeb Clarke and Thomas Clarke; honorary grandchildren, Emma Dill and husband, Alexander of Penhook and Jarrett Arthur and fiancée, Kailey of Hurt; niece, Rachel Ipock and husband, Jason; and great-nephew, Dylan Ipock.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Stone Gregory.  Burial will follow in Kedron Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
