Hurt……….David Lee Rowland, age 46 of Hurt died Monday, January 1, 2018 at his residence.
Born August 19, 1971 in Camp Lejeune, NC, he was a son of the late Bernard Lee Rowland and Virginia Wilson Rowland. David was a machinist; and enjoyed gaming, going to tractor pulls and working on old cars and trucks.
He is survived by one brother, William "Tony" Rowland and significant other, Becky of Gretna; one sister, Michelle Rowland Dalton and husband, Vincent of Rustburg; his longtime companion, Donna McCormick of Bedford; his uncle, George Rowland of Columbus, GA; three nephews, Joshua Dalton, Jeremiah Dalton and Cody W. Lee Rowland; a niece, Charlotte Rowland; and his cats.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Carl Weiser. Burial will follow in the Rowland Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
