Floyd……….David Wayne Lambert, age 50 of Floyd died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born July 11, 1962 in Campbell County, he was a son of the late David Lambert, Jr. and Lucille Dowdy Lambert. He was a welder and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by-his fiancée, Tammy Evans of the residence; one daughter, Kristi Lambert of Hurt; two step-children, Jessica Creasy of Roanoke and Terry Lee Evans, Jr. and fiancée, Sherry Mason of Madison Heights; one brother, Terry Lee Lambert and wife, Charity of Hurt; one sister, Wanda Monroe and husband, Richard of Rustburg; one half brother, David Lambert, III of Altavista; one grandchild, Terry Lee Evans, III; an aunt Jackie Rice of Altavista; his fiancée's parents, George and Joyce McCormick of Lynchburg; nieces and nephews, Angela Viar, Christian Viar, Jessica Pillow, Brittney Daniels, Montana Monroe and Lucas Lambert.
Memorial services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the home of his Aunt Jackie Rice, 163 Dowdy Ridge Drive, Altavista.
