Pittsville……….David Lynn Chumley, age 58 of Pittsville died Saturday, April 13, 2019 at his residence.

Born April 22, 1960 in Danville, he was a son of the late Benjamin Anderson Riddle and Gladys Marie Chumley Riddle.  He was predeceased by an aunt, Carolyn Marshall.  Mr. Chumley was of the Christian faith and was an employee of Times Fiber and Cook Farms.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and yard work.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Chumley of the residence; one daughter, Samantha Chumley Hollingsworth and husband, Anthony of Chatham; two brothers, Rodney Riddle and wife, Tara of Dry Fork, and Jimmy Riddle and wife, Kathy of Pennsylvania; one granddaughter, Victoria Hollingsworth; one nephew, Michael Riddle and wife, Jennifer; and one niece, Alyssa Riddle.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Hillcrest Burial Park by Larry Owen, Minister.

The family will receive friends at the residence, 8908 Climax Road, Pittsville.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Camp Pitt, ℅ Sheva Church of Christ, 4920 Chalk Level Road, Chatham, VA 24531, or to Children's Bible Camp, P.O. Box 35, Dry Fork, VA 24549.
