Callands………Danny Glenn Reynolds, age 79 of Callands passed away Monday, June 1, 2026 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence, SC.

Born January 13, 1947 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late James Richard Reynolds and Mildred Oakes Reynolds.  Mr. Reynolds was a parts manager with Woodall Chevrolet and a member of Christian Tabernacle Church.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star for his service.  He enjoyed playing golf and spending time at Cedars Country Club playing cards. He also enjoyed eating breakfast at Jenny Lynn's with his friends.

He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Cooper and husband, Adam of Sandy Level and Tori Swart and husband, Allen of Wirtz; one son, Jamie Rule of Rustburg; two sisters, Judy Griffith and husband, Leon of Cascade and Margaret Heath of Callands; seven grandchildren, Noah, Eli, Bella Clarke, Grayson, Kennedy, Annabelle and Callaway.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2026 at the Clark Family Cemetery by Pastor Allen Morris.  Burial with Military Honors by American Legion Altavista Post 36 and Gretna Post 232.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Adam Cooper 12044 West Gretna Road, Sandy Level, VA.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
