Gretna…….Daniel Martin Roncaglione, age 82 of Gretna died Sunday, November 6, 2016 at his residence.
Born February 27, 1934 in Gallipolis, Ohio he was a son of late Joseph Martin Roncaglione and Grace Florene Shawver Roncaglione. He was predeceased by a son, Tim Roncaglione and two brothers, John Roncaglione and Joe Lee Roncaglione. He was a retired Plant Manager for Caravelle Industries and also managed Brownstone Properties, Inc. Mr. Roncaglione was a member and Elder of the Gretna Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed the door to door preaching activities, traveling, gardening and yard work.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Greta Roncaglione of the residence; three sons, Daniel Roncaglione and wife, Sue of Rock Hill, SC, Thomas Roncaglione and wife, Erica of Gretna and Ted Roncaglione and wife, Tamara of Durham, NC; two brothers, James Roncaglione and wife, Geraldine and Fred Roncaglione; two sisters, Anna Perry and husband, Kenneth and Karen Wyant and husband, Kenny; a sister-in-law, Velma Roncaglione; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex in Chatham.
