Gretna………Dale Arthur Petersen, age 68 of Gretna died, Friday, May 4, 2018 at his residence.

Born January 24, 1950 in Sedalia, Missouri, he was a son of the late Arthur Christian Petersen and Norma Frances Brodersen Petersen.  Mr. Petersen was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Danville and was a CRNA.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, and horseback riding.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Lassiter Petersen of the residence; one son, Jodi Dale Petersen and wife, Jennifer of Republic, Washington; one sister, Sandy Juhl and husband, Kent of Smithton, Missouri; two step-daughters, Andrea Johnson and husband, Stan of Gretna and Sherry Bowen and husband, Philip of New York; two grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Danville by Pastor Dan Royo.
