Gretna……….Daisy Marie White, age 50 of Gretna died Friday, September 6, 2013 at her residence.
Born May 19, 1963 in Bluefield, WV she was a daughter of Jean Kitts Deskins of Gretna and the late Harold Earls. She was predeceased by a brother James Earls. Mrs. White was a home maker. She was a member of the Gretna Rescue Squad; and enjoyed working in her yard, and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Denny White of the residence; one daughter, Amanda Gravely and her husband, Jeremy of Wytheville; one sister, Perneice White and her husband, Roger of Gretna; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Gravely, Cameron Gravely, and Kadence Gravely; a sister-in-law, Priscilla Abuhl and her husband, Dave of Price, UT; her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Quick of Gretna; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 9, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Allen Roberson. Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of her sister and brother-in-law, Perneice and Roger White, 2389 Boxwood Road, Gretna.
