Gretna……….Curtiss William Cox, Jr. age 48 of Gretna, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at his residence.
Born October 15, 1963 in Leaksville, North Carolina, he was a son of Peggy Gover Cox of Eden, NC, and the late Curtiss William Cox, Sr. Mr. Cox was a welder. He enjoyed car racing, hunting, boating, fishing, four wheeling, and doing body work on cars.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Guilliams Cox of the residence; two sons, Ryan Cox and Brandon Rowland; three daughters, Laken Cox, Keanu Cox, and Christian Cox; one brother, Jamie Cox; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Midway Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Lynn Marstin.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
