Chatham………Curtis Everett Kendrick, age 86 of Chatham passed away Friday, July 17, 2026 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.

Born October 7, 1939 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Garry Kendrick and Carrie Lou Kendrick.  He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Towler Kendrick; a daughter, Cynthia Kendrick; brothers, Kelly Keith Kendrick, Richard Clayton Kendrick and one sister, Selena Moore.

He is survived by two sons, Anthony "Butch" Kendrick and his wife, Amy of Chatham, and Kelly Karl Kendrick and his wife, Phyllis of Chatham; two sisters, Dorothy Adkins and Becky Adkins; four grandchildren, Daniel Kendrick and wife, Karen, Jonathan Kendrick & wife, Abigail, Kimberly Kendrick Morris and Courtney Kendrick Grady and husband, James; great-grandchildren, Makayla Morris, Lucas Morris, Olivia Kendrick, Zoe Kendrick, Miles Kendrick, Arthur Kendrick, Jackson Kendrick, Julianne Kendrick, William Kendrick and Emma Kendrick.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Green Bay Christian Church with Pastor Glen Bartley officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Burial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Greenbay Christian Church and other times will be at the residence, 624 Oxford Road, Chatham, VA 24531.
