Connie Gail Payne Hall, age 63 of Altavista died Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born September 13, 1961 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Joyce (Mickey) Payne. She is preceded in death by her husband Larry, daughter Amanda and grandson Logan.

Connie never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. She loved her family, her friends and her clients from the home cleaning business she and her sister operated. She loved quilting, crocheting and cooking.

Connie is survived by her boyfriend Barry, daughter Debra, son-in-law Mark, granddaughter Hailey; her two sisters, Bonnie (Robert) and Donna (Kevin). Nephews, Matt (Kristin) and Clayton (Emily); great niece and great nephew, Hope and Peyton and her dog, Sophia. She is also survived by her aunts, Pat and Shirley, uncles, Roy (Sheila) and Lester (Beth) and numerous cousins.

A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2024  at Lambs Community Church Cemetery at 2591 Lambs Church Road Altavista, VA by Randolph Coffey.

The family will receive friends one hour prior the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Lambs Community Church.
