Biglerville, PA…..Clyde Morgan Parsons, age 79 of Biglerville, PA died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at York Hospital in York, PA.
Born January 11, 1933 in Pittsylvania County he was a son of the late Sam Morgan Parsons and Katherine Levister Parsons. Mr. Parsons was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Parsons, and Lucille H. Hardy. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a retired truck driver with the A B F Company. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, traveling, and his family.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Parsons of the residence; two sons, Andrew Parsons of Deale, MD, and Randy James Parsons of Abingdon; two daughters, Sandra L. Parsons of Vernon Hill, and Sharon Guzman and her husband, Danny of Cambridge, MD; four step-children, Jake and Kathleen Small of PA, Janet Vanderau of PA, Larry and Melinda Hamilton of AL, and Cristina Bowling of PA; three brothers, Sam Wesley Parsons of Altavista, Raymond Teal Parsons and his wife, Cindy of Hurt, and Lloyd Edward Parsons of Hurt; 17 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Parsons Family Cemetery by Rev. Dr. Lynn Marstin.
