Evington……..Clayton Lee Noel, 71, of Evington, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at his residence.

Born February 6, 1947 in Campbell County, he was the son of the late Preston Raymond Noel and Kathleen Mason Noel. He was predeceased by one brother, Raymond Noel. Mr. Noel was a member at Highland Heights Baptist Church, where he was very active with church and music. He enjoyed fishing, cutting firewood and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Thoms Noel, of the residence; one son, Clayton (C.L.) Noel II and wife, Heather of Evington; one daughter, Susan Lawhorn and husband, Scott of Rustburg; one sister, Doris Noel Trent of Evington; and four grandchildren, Clay Noel III, Alyssa Ashley Noel, Kyle Lawhorn and Amanda Starr Lawhorn.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 5, 2018 at Hyland Heights Baptist Church by Pastor Carl Weiser and Rev. Jim Critchley.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 5, 2018 at Hyland Heights Baptist Church.
