Clarice Mayhew Craddock

Gretna…..Clarice Mayhew Craddock, age 96 of Farmville, formerly of Gretna, died Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Woodland in Farmville.
Born November 26, 1914 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Elisha Mayhew and Lena Keatts Mayhew. She was predeceased by her husband, John Thomas Craddock. Mrs. Craddock was a member of Siloam United Methodist Church, and the Siloam United Methodist Women. She was a home maker.
She is survived by one son, L. Douglas Craddock and wife, Sandra of Gretna; one daughter, Jean Arrington of Farmville; four grandchildren, Greg Craddock, Kelli Harding, Cindy Duffy and Randy Arrington; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Siloam United Methodist Church by Rev. George Schaefer and Rev. Larry Craddock. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, and other times will be at the residence of her son, L. Douglas Craddock, 1997 West Gretna Road, Gretna.
