Madison Heights…….Cynthia (Cindy) Shields Hackworth, age 55 of Madison Heights died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her residence.
Born February 26, 1957 in Danville she was a daughter of Ervin Anderson Shields of Gretna and the late Nera Willis Shields. Mrs. Hackworth was a Convenience Store Clerk. She enjoyed scrap booking, taking care of her pets, and watching T.V. and movies.
In addition to her father she is survived by two daughters, Corinne Audrey Hackworth of Burleson, TX and Catrinna Daire Evelyn Hackworth of Madison Heights; one grandchild, Isaac James Barrington; her former husband, Darrell Hackworth of Madison Heights; her former son-in-law, Joseph Barrington of Burleson, TX; and a dear friend, Vanessa Coffey of Huddleston.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Walter Yancey. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
