Altavista……Cynthia "Cindy" Dalton Glenn, age 58 of Altavista died Monday, December 11, 2017 at her residence.
Born August 18, 1959 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Paul Morgan Dalton and Mary Madeline Myers Dalton. She was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey Lee Glenn, Sr. and one brother, Paul Michael Dalton. Cindy was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. She was a former employee of Wal-Mart; and also worked with blind people and taught mentally handicapped children.
She is survived by two sons, Aubrey "A.J." Glenn, Jr. and wife, Dawn of Beverly Hills, FL and Wesley Glenn and wife, Sharon of Hurt; one sister, Peggy Haley of Gretna; and seven grandchildren, Hailey Glenn, Price Glenn, Will Glenn, Ainsley Glenn, Trinity Roach, Waylon Glenn and Walker Glenn.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 in The Pate Chapel at Thomas Road Baptist Church by Pastor Scott Bullman. The family will reconvene for the burial at Altavista Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
