Gretna……….Christine Dalton Worley, age 88 of Gretna passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab of Altavista.

Born March 17, 1937 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Lee Dalton and Lorene Dalton.  She was predeceased by her husband, Russell Lee Worley; two brothers, Carroll Dalton and Sanford Dalton; and one grandson, Bryson Worley.  Mrs. Worley was a member of Summersett Baptist Church and a  home maker.  She was a Christian wife, mother and a blessing to all who called her Granny.

She is survived by three sons, Steve Worley and wife, Gloria of Hurt, Kevin Worley and wife, Carol of Columbia, SC and Mark Worley and wife, Tracey of Gretna; four grandchildren, Greg Allen Worley and wife, Teresa, Jesse Lee Worley and wife, Christy, Kahla W. Graham and husband, Shane and Cole Worley and fiancée, Caroline; and five great-grandchildren, Bryce Worley, Austin Worley, Hannah Worley, Luke Worley and Ember Graham.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jason Andrews.  Burial will follow in the Dove Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
