Pittsville…….Christopher "Chris" James Wilson, age 37 of Pittsville passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born July 16, 1987 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Doug Wilson and Tammy "Sissy" Hoskins Wilson of Pittsville.  He was predeceased by a son, Andrew James Wilson; paternal grandfather, James Wilson; and maternal grandfather, Stan Hoskins.  Chris loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and his dog, "Lord."

In addition to his parents, he is survived by paternal grandmother, Ethel Wilson of Lynchburg; maternal grandmother, Loretta Hoskins of Chatham; brother, Brandon Wilson (Lacy) of Roanoke; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at the Hoskins Family Cemetery by Preacher Craig Nickerson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of his maternal grandmother, Loretta Hoskins, 869 Green Bay Road, Chatham, VA.
