Chatham………Cheryl Evener Rolland, age 73 of Chatham died Monday, June 17, 2024 at her residence.

Born June 15, 1951 in Courtland, New York, she was a daughter of the late Gerald Evener and Frances Dann Evener.  She was predeceased by her husband, Gene Harmon Rolland.  She was a member of Stateline Baptist Church and she was a waitress.  Mrs. Rolland enjoyed reading, writing letters to her friends and going to the beach.  She loved her family most of all.

She is survived by two sons, Shaun Rolland of Chatham and Shane Rolland of South Carolina; two brothers, Jeff Evener of Groton, New York and Greg Evener of Groton, New York; one sister, Sherry of Groton, New York; and five grandchildren, Courtney Saunders, James Saunders, Hailey Rolland, Jessica Rolland and Zach Rolland.

Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
