Pittsville…..Cheryl Shelton Dash, age 48 of Pittsville died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born September 16, 1963 in Danville, she was a daughter of Maurice Stuart Shelton, Jr. and Alice Faye Barker Shelton of Pittsville. Mrs. Dash enjoyed animals, especially her cat "Buttons"; and she also enjoyed collecting dolls, shopping, movies, and flowers.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Travis Justin Davidson of Gretna; and three sisters, Deborah Eatmon of Dry Fork, Tammy Sames of Rocky Mount, and Penny Harper of Danville; a niece, Ashley Eatmon; nephews, C.J. Harper and Johnathan Walden.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Round Pond Baptist Church by Rev. Harold Thornton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, and other times will be at the residence of her parents, Alice and Maurice Shelton, Jr. 1681 Darby Road, Pittsville.
