Bonlee, NC……Charlie Edward Johnson, Jr., age 68 of Bonlee, NC, died Friday, May 18, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born July 6, 1949 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Charlie Edward Johnson, Sr. and Bernice Creasy Johnson.  Mr. Johnson enjoyed song writing, playing the guitar, gardening, watching movies and following politics.

He is survived by one daughter, Darcy Lancaster and husband, John of Lynchburg; one son, Zane Johnson of Los Angeles, CA; one brother, Lindsey Alan Johnson and wife, Sandy of Ormond Beach, FL; one sister, Linda Williams of Altavista; and one grandson, Sunny Lancaster.

Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Midway Baptist Church.
