Hurt………Charles Joseph "Charlie" Huber, age 88 of Hurt died Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at his residence.

Born November 25, 1936 in Jacksonville, FL, he was a son of the late George Barron Huber, Sr. and Mildred Goethe Huber.  He was predeceased by two brothers, George Barron Huber, Jr. and James Huber.  Mr. Huber was a graduate of the University of Florida and was the owner/operator of Western Auto.  He was a member of Evington Church and was a U.S. Marine Veteran.  He enjoyed playing golf and  working with Little League Baseball programs in Plant City, FL.  He loved his family, The Marine Corp and the Florida Gators.

He is survived by his wife, Gayle Richardson Huber of the residence; one son, Michael Eric Huber and wife, Rhonda of Plant City, FL; two daughters, Allison H. Maddy and husband, Walter of Gretna and Jennifer H. Mills and husband, Jimmie of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren, Ashley Huber and husband, Stephen, Jordan Maddy and wife, Yoko, Aaron Huber and significant other, Mikenly Castro, Dylan Maddy and wife, Carla, Charley Mills, Cole Mills and Joshua Williams and wife, Kayla; and ten great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Memorial services will take place at a later date.
