Gretna…..Carter Jarrett Norcutt, age 18 of Gretna died Wednesday, June 17, 2020.

Born August 10, 2001 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Okey Lea Norcutt, Jr. and Kathleen Francis Norcutt of Gretna.  He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Okey Lea Norcutt, Sr.; and his maternal grandparents, Henry Francis, Sr. and Vincent Pierce Francis.  Carter was an employee of J.T.'s at the Lavalette restaurant.  He loved the Lord; and he enjoyed helping others, and the outdoors. Carter was known for his kindness and gentle spirit; he was a generous friend who brought joy everywhere he went and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Okey Mason Norcutt of Gretna, and Nathan Eric Norcutt and fiancée, Alex Preston of Gretna; his paternal grandmother, Edna Norcutt of Hurt; a niece, Eden Preston; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Gretna Burial Park by Randy Parker, Minister.
