Gretna……….Carroll Lee Dove, age 77 of Gretna died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born February 28, 1936 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Arthur Jones Dove and Elva Poindexter Dove. He was a retired technician at Babcock and Wilcox, a US Air Force veteran and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gretna.
He is survived by a sister Ann Prince and her husband Rue of Norfolk.
A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Gretna by Rev. Jonathan Hilliard and Rev. Kristen White with interment to follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
